What type of service? Full, interim or lubrication service.
We can understand how confused people get when they are given the choice. So here is a quick rundown of our services that we offer. 1. Lubrication service.     A lubrication service takes care of the parts of your car that require lubrication. Specifically the engine and     gearbox. The oil is drained and refilled using new oil recommended for your car, and new oil filter is fitted.     The gearbox oil level is checked and or adjusted. The engine is run and the level of the engine oil checked.     Thats it. 2. Interim service.     As well as having all the above done, all the other fluid levels are checked and or adjusted. Coolant, brake     fluid, power steering fluid, screen wash. The brakes are visually checked as are the tyres. The lights are     checked. Safety systems are visually checked - brakes, steering & suspension. All controls are checked and     a short road test carried out. 3. Full service.     All the last two service operations are combined plus all wheels are removed. The tyre pressures are checked     and adjusted, the wheels are balanced. The brake discs are measured to the nearest hundreth of a millimetre     and recorded. The brake pads are inspected and measured for thickness and recorded. Rear brake drums are     removed and a thorough inspection carried out. The antifreeze is checked for strength and protection, the     brake fluid is checked to measure its percentage water content and recorded.     The tyres are checked and measured to the nearest tenth of a millimetre and recorded. All our services are video monitored 24hrs and you can have your own copy of the service on request. There is no charge for this. Finally, you are legally obliged to keep your car in a roadworthy condition at all times. Your insurance provider expects you to do this. So you have to keep these things in mind when you decide which service to have.
